From Thrissur to the National Stage: GramPro Wins ‘Bootstrapped Startup of the Year’ at ET Entrepreneur Awards 2026

GramPro Business Services was recently honoured with the ‘Bootstrapped Startup of the Year 2026’ award at the 3rd Edition of the prestigious ET Entrepreneur Awards held in Mumbai.

Standing on a stage that celebrates the visionaries and disruptors of India’s economic landscape, this recognition is a testament to the hard work, grit, and innovation that defines our team.

What Does it Mean to be "Bootstrapped"?

In the world of high-velocity venture capital, being "bootstrapped" is a badge of honour. It means we built this company from the ground up without relying on external funding or private equity.

By prioritising strategic resource management and self-financing, we’ve remained agile and deeply committed to our core mission: to be the preferred partner for innovative and comprehensive solutions that transform businesses into sustainable and futuristic establishments. To be recognised by the Economic Times for this specific achievement, amidst startups established over the last decade, is a milestone we don’t take lightly.

How We Got There: A Journey of Grit and Scrutiny

The path to the stage in Mumbai involved a multi-layered screening process designed to filter for genuine substance over style.

Before a single judge saw our name, our entry faced a Scrutiny by Expert Tabulators. Ernst & Young (EY) was the Official Tabulator for the awards.

Once cleared, we moved into a Thorough Review Process led by top professionals from across the nation. The final selection rested in the hands of the Grand Jury, a panel of legendary industry titans including Harsh C. Mariwala (Chairman, Marico Ltd), Anand Rathi (Chairman, Anand Rathi Group) and Sanjeev Bikhchandani (Founder, Info Edge India Ltd). They reviewed the final shortlist to identify the ultimate winners who demonstrated the most unique innovation and future growth potential.

GramPro was measured on a comprehensive 100-point scale, scoring high across five critical areas: Innovation and Uniqueness, Growth Potential, Customer Retention, Measurable Impact, and Future Scalability.

The Next Chapter: AI-First

While this award celebrates our journey so far, it is also a catalyst for what comes next. During the ceremony, our CEO, Nikhil Mathew Joseph, shared a vision that will define our roadmap for the coming years:

"This award is fuel for our next chapter. We are rapidly transitioning toward an AI-first company designed to unlock massive scale for emerging businesses across India."

A Heartfelt Thank You

To our clients who have trusted us with their business operations, and to our dedicated team in Thrissur and beyond: this award belongs to you. We remain committed to driving the operational efficiency that helps Indian businesses thrive.
